If you’re on a fleeting visit to North Phuket and only have 24 hours to spare, what should you do? Well we’ve compiled a list of all of our favourite activities, all the best bits, all the hidden gems and all the things you just can’t miss whilst you’re here in Phuket. We’ve saved you the trouble of scouting out tons of websites to find the right information, so that you can travel and explore with ease!
Once you’ve arrived in North Phuket, whether you’re staying in Kamala, Surin, Laguna or nearby areas, make sure the first thing you do is hit the beach. Phuket is renowned for its stunning beaches. Think crystal white sand, aqua blue water and nature all around you. Whether you like to surf, paddle board, swim or sunbathe, the pristine beaches are there at your disposal to enjoy a relaxing morning in tropical paradise. You can even grab yourself a mango smoothie or fresh coconut on the beach too… to keep you hydrated all day long.
By the afternoon, it’s time for a spot of lunch. Our favourite spots are Suay in Cherngtalay for a fancy lunch, Lemonade Club in Cherngtalay for a more chilled and relaxing tropical experience, or Origami Cafe in Laguna for an art deco cafe environment. Whichever you pick, you sure won’t be disappointed.
As the evening draws in, it’s time for one of our favourite times of the day, sunset! You can’t beat a good Phuket sunset, it’s a pink lightshow! Head the beach for the perfect sundown. You can even go paragliding to get an even better view!
Once the sun has gone down, it’s all about dinner and drinks! You won’t be short on choices for dinner restaurants. Head to boat avenue for an entire street full of bustling restaurants with every cuisine imaginable. If you like to take the night further, head to Cafe Del Mar or Catch Beach Club for cocktails, dancing and a night to remember!
