Want to travel light? Now’s your chance! If you’ve never travelled abroad without checking in your baggage, you’re in for a real treat. Some may say that only taking carry-on luggage is restricting, but we have found something special in travelling light.
There is something so freeing about travelling with just a carry-on suitcase. Not only do you get to skip the queues at the airport and get onto the plane a lot faster, you also get to leave your arrival airport a whole lot faster too. No more waiting by your conveyor belt as they add the suitcases one by one, impatiently waiting for yours to be the first to show up but it never does.
We also love travelling light because it transforms our entire trip. We can get to move around a lot faster, beit getting in an out of taxis or in and out of hotel rooms. It’s one less thing to think about!
Not only do we have one less bag to manage, we also don’t have to manage everything that’s would have been inside it! Less clothes to choose from is always a blessing when on holiday. We don’t know about you, but we find out 5 favourite outfits and wear them on repeat when travelling, so our whole suitcase never gets worn even when we have it. Less is more. When humans have less choice, it’s actually much easier to make decisions.
Keep things light, declutter your baggage, literally… and learn to travel with a little more freedom!
