On 29 November, members of both the Phuket Hotel Association and the Rawai Nai Harn Business Community cleaned Nai Harn Beach and repaired the five flights of stairs leading down into the sand. “Visitors can now not only enjoy a clean and but can also easily access the beach” said Urs Aebi, General Manager of Serenity Resort & Residences”, adding “this is especially important for families with young children and the elderly who in the past were struggling with steep drops and uneven surfaces”.
The cleaning event was supported by the office of the Rawai Or Bor Tor and his team. “The private sector and the local government joining hands has once again proven to be an efficient method to bring positive change to the local community and tourists alike” said Claude Baltes, General Manager of Sunsuri Phuket.
